Worth getting into your car from the resort to get away from another restaurant with pizza and fritto misto. Up in the hills, driving in a scenic route with at least several U-turns. Parking space outside is limited, but unless you park outside someone's gate, you should be fine. They have a huge selection of wines. Menu is short and they also have daily specials. Antipasti were great, except the strange liver sauce, but my wife was a fan. Risotto with zucchini and cheese was excellent, also the ravioli with ricotta with sage. But the best was the veal with truffles. I expected a small dish but it was a huge steak. Got really late, so we skipped dessert, but booked again for tomorrow! Nothing lost. Overall great experience! EDIT: Second night was as delicious as the previous one!

Panoramic terrace with views overlooking the valley all the way to the sea, in a countryside-style setting. Everything we tasted from starters to desserts is home made with locally sourced ingredients: the boar in the pappardelle sauce is local game; the traditional tordelli (local ravioli) are all different, like the pappardelle all vary in thickness, testifying craftsmanship in the kitchen; even the giardiniera (bittersweet pickled vegetables) takes this traditional preserve up a notch! The service is excellent, all waiters had friendly, personable yet exquisite ways to suggest us what to order and we really appreciated, but be prepared to eat quite a lot! Truly a hidden gem in a perfectly polished small village on the Apuane Alps.

Couldn't have wished for a better closing dinner of our Tuscany weekend at Il Vignaccio. The restaurant is charming, located on top of a hill facing the seaside (get there early to enjoy the sunset) and the staff was truly helpful. The waiter guided us through the (extensive) wine list to help us try some great local wines. Food was great, with a special mention to the T-bone steak (rarely had such soft steak), the veal with truffles, pasta truffles and the pistacchio / mascarpone dessert. We also had the zucchini risotto but it tasted more bland compare to the others. 100% recommend.

Buonasera a tutti, spero stiate bene. For the sport people, the restaurant offers many choices about vegan life style, for you, green people (like shrek). Grazie Grazie Grazie e ancora grazie...
