Wonderful hotel and restaurant! For first class service and a family ran quaint style hotel, it's the best I've stayed at. I had a successful hunt in seggiano for cervo, Rita was gracious enough to prepare this fresh meat, toscana style. Shes an amazing chef with all she served us over a 4 day stay! Her son Sergio was a gracious host and made us feel comfortable if and when we needed something. I especially appreciated them keeping the breakfast open past their 1030 closing time when we were late. Alessio was our waiter for breakfast and dinner, he spoke english very well and advised us on the content's of each menu item, as well as being very knowledgeable on many different Tuscan wines. He was very attentive and professional! Oxana did a fantastic job cleaning our rooms and making sure my door was locked as I left it unlocked often 🙄, I also enjoyed the amazing views and beautiful drive to get there. Absolutely brilliant. We have been visiting the area for 8 years and cannot believe we haven't eaten here before (We have had the pizza which is excellent from a wood fired oven) but not dinner service. Do not miss!! The food is unbelievable, so fresh and beautifully homemade. I had the tortelli with butter and sage which was the best I've ever had and totally melted in the mouth. Insanely reasonably priced and the best quality meal me and my family have had on our holiday this! So sad we haven't been here before but it will not be our last visit! À fuir ! ! Pâtes aux ragoût de lièvre plein d'éclats d'os au point que ça n'était plus mangeable. Idem pour les pâtes Caccio et Peppe salée à l'excès (même pour quelqu'un comme moi qui aime le sel). Et pour moi une tranche de viande, sauce vin rouge absolument "dégueu", pardon je n'ai pas d'autre terme au vu de l'horrible plat servi . Une sauce gelatineuse et gluante en amont et un goût bien pire que la première impression en aval 🤮. Constatant que je ne mangeais pas, le serveur m'a dit que c'est une recette particulière et proposé de me faire un autre plat. Suivi d'une personne de la cuisine qui m'a également proposé de me servir autre chose. J'opte pour des pâtes que je demande au plus simple juste pour avoir mangé quelques choses (encore une fois couvertes de sel). Arrive l'addition, sur laquelle figurent ma viande et mes pâtes ! Explications du patron : j'ai mangé un bout de viande et donc je dois payer le plat ! Après discussion devant la mauvaise foi, je ne l'ai pas payé.
