I hardly ever feel inclined to leave a rating, but... dining at Trattoria Cacciaconti was such an outstanding experience that I absolutely must. Everything in this place (starting with the furnishings) appears to be hand-picked and selected with great taste and true passion. Every dish served was a poem, and Agata (the young chef) recommended some delicious natural wines (from a pretty vast wine menu) to go with it. Agata was joined in the kitchen by her mum, and they were creating this incredibly charming atmosphere... my friends and I felt right at home (only with much better food, of course). We enjoyed our dinner so much that we came back right away for a second time. If you are in the area, treat yourself and visit Trattoria Cacciaconti; foodies, this place will blow...

After reading all the reviews here and considering the relatively high prices we had expected a really great experience so we gave it another go for dinner. What a mistake. The small portions of tastless dishes, white wine which looked, tasted and smelled like homemade apple wine, the weird lack of homeliness and nervous manner of the waitresses make us think the recommendations here are fake. Only later we learned that it was supposed to be some bioactive culinary concept of a young French chef. Well, nit worth the tome and definitely...
