Oreade Monteverdi is one of the most amazing restaurants we have dined at. It is part of the Monteverdi resort which occupies the hill you will dine on. Most of the guests appear to be on their honeymoon but we dined with two families and our children and the staff were so friendly and accommodating.

The views and food are hard to describe. It's worth the short 10 min drive up the dirt road to have a meal here and perhaps plan a visit back one day.

Originally, we just wanted to stop here for coffee, but in the end, we decided to have lunch. The staff is excellent. Even though we arrived in two groups and ended up being nine, there was no problem for the ladies. We felt sorry for them as they moved tables back and forth to seat us together. In un piccolo borgo sospeso nel tempo, immerso nel verde della campagna toscana abbiamo vissuto un'esperienza gastronomica indimenticabile. Abbiamo deciso di affidarci completamente all'esperienza del team dello chef per accompagnare ad ogni piatto il giusto calice e seguito il consiglio di provare entrambi i menù degustazione, anche quello completamente vegetariano. Sorprendente l'estetica dei piatti, curata in ogni minimo dettaglio così come il racconto della storia dell'esperienza, un percorso che secondo me non può essere raccontato ma vissuto.
