It's love or hate it kind of place. We probably were not the right audience. I'd not recommend it if you're looking for a lunch stop along your way. Lasagna and Tortellini were good although nothing extraordinary to my palate. The chef's attitude is strongly opinionated. You'd better not be vegetarian or have any other kind of preferences. Already at the entrance they give a warning about it and other things to avoid. Mind the sitting fee of 2 Eur per person, we also paid for 3 year old kids. They were closed and the owner let me in to use the bathroom & then he agreed to feed us too!! He was extremely nice and accommodating. The food was EXCELLENT, so much so that a year later (during covid) we were dreaming about his lasagna.

Read moreThis place is incredible! A true Italian experience. We stopped here randomly on our drive from Chianti to Lake Garda and came very hungry. We asked the owner and chef which pasta dishes were his favorite before splitting the lasagne and tortellini. They were both so good that we ended up ordering the other 2 pasta options- tagliatelle and tortelli. All of the pasta here was AMAZING! Some of the best pasta we had our entire trip. We left stuffed.
