In the morning we went to do the waterfall route leaving and returning to Premilcuore. Just at the end of the route it started to rain. Physical activity and time had opened our appetite. We went to this restaurant that my wife had found the day before, and the owner of our accommodation had recommended us. The restaurant is located in a small valley closed by mountains well carpeted by a beautiful and varied forest. Before entering the restaurant we visited a small, beautiful and pleasant chapel in front of it. The restaurant is a mountain place, clean, spacious, rustic and cozy. The staff is friendly, attentive and professional. They explain the menu and advise you on the best option for your needs. The food is very good; fresh, local products cooked according to tradition. We enjoyed an excellent meal. The relation quality/price is excellent. After the meal, and after a chat with the owner of the restaurant, we decided to visit the mill which is located about 5 minutes from the restaurant. Despite the rain it was worth it. Ristorante tosco-romagnolo con ottima location immersa nelle foreste casentinesi. Antipasti di crostini misti e salumi. Noi abbiamo provato solo i crostini (davvero buono quello ai funghi e quello con i fegatini). Primi piatti fatti in casa con sughi di funghi e cacciagione! Ieri abbiamo provato tagliatelle al cinghiale, ravioli ripieni alle patate con funghi porcini e delle lasagne verdi che mi ha veramente impressionato come tutto il resto. Secondi a base sempre di cacciagione, in salmì o arrosto oltre che la grigliata mista alla brace. Ieri ho fatto provare il somaro e il cervo in salmì: fantastico! Carne che si scioglieva e sapore impareggiabile! Ottimi anche i contorni e i porcini fritti (che però ieri non c'erano ma che ho provato la prima volta che ho scoperto questo ottimo ristorante). Dolci buonossimi come il sangiovese della casa che era a dir poco eccezionale. E dulcis in fundo abbiamo speso 22 euro a testa. Straconsigliato, anche perché usciti di qui siete immersi nel bosco e ci sono vari sentieri cai di cui uno corto che porta al vecchio mulino sul fiumiciattolo. Una delle trattorie più buone...

Do una stella, e dico una, in quanto si meriterebbero UNO ZERO e un boicottaggio generale (dato che lavorano con il bestiame ma i cani non lo vogliono se non inscatolati). PREMETTO cibo ottimo e posto bellissimo. Quando telefono e prenoto per due + un cane, mi viene domandato se avessi il "trasportino " ovviamente rispondo di no e mi viene chiesto DI METTERE IL MIO CANE ALL’INTERNO DI UNA SCATOLONE ,CHE MI SAREBBE STATO GENTILMENTE OFFERTO DA LORO (pensando scherzasse ovviamente). Arrivati al ristorante ci accompagnano al tavolo. IN VERANDA ALL 'APERTO CON 12 gradi di fuori!!! Non gioco sull età del mio cane perché anziano E OVVIAMENTE PERCHÉ GODE DI UNA DIGNITÀ TUTTA SUA, al contrario di certi comportamenti UMANOIDI che di dignitoso hanno ben poco. Oltretutto vorrei evidenziare quanto segue: Il mio cane si è riposato in macchina ma noi abbiamo GIUSTAMENTE continuato a mangiare fuori ,come anche fuori ho usato il "bagno". Comunque ripeto, cibo ottimo e consigliato se avete il tipico cane in scatola!
