We stayed here as a stopover on our way to the mountains, but would happily have stayed an extra night. It's a bit of a tardis: outside seemingly a tiny little place in a charming small hamlet, but out the back they've developed an impressive facility and clearly host weddings and I imagine a busy weekend scene round the pool in the season. We stayed mid week so it was practically empty. The service was fairly slow, perfectly friendly but it could be hard to track someone down. The room was small but comfortable, charming and clean, with a powerful shower. The grounds were much larger than you'd imagine and the pool looked very inviting (not enough time to try it). The hamlet itself is tiny, there's nothing else except a handful of houses and a small pretty church. Easy parking nearby (because you'll probably be driving here.) The stand out thing was the food in the restaurant, which was surprisingly good (seems their reputation brings in the business) - one of our best meals on the trip....

We ended with a variety of lovely desserts. The two servers were very gracious though spoke nearly no English so come prepared. By far our best meal in Italy so far. Try...
