Apparently, this is the only bar or restaurant in this tiny village. The food was nothing special, quality is just ok, some dishes are below average, sluggish service, but the bill was a shock! Can't believe they charged €9 for 2 poor side dishes €3 per person, which basically was just a small plate of sour cabbage and a small bowl of some boring lettuces leaves without any dressing! There were 3 of us sharing it, so they charged us together €9 just for that!!! Totally ripped off!!! And, what I don't understand is that Italian restaurants charge each customer €2 for using their knives and forks, and give you some boring bread whether you want it ot not! This is not Indian, where you may be supposed to use your hands!! Even street food places in Europe offer free plastic fork and knives!! I wonder if I could refuse to pay this so called "cover charge" by telling them that I have my own cutleries in my handbag?! The waiter didn't ask what size of wine we wanted, just brought the 1lt jar on the table. Among the 3 of us, I don't drink alcohol, my boyfriend can't drink due to illness, so there is only 1 who can drink. Obviously, she was not an alcoholic who would pour the jar down the throat! We ended up had half a jar left! What a waste! One more thing, they didn't offer or don't have a menu, which means you wouldn't know the price of dishes unless you ask one by one. This made me very uncomfortable: 1. We're not some rich people who don't care about the price; 2. I don't want to ask for the prices for all the dishes options I might choose from, as it can go on forever!! We got ripped off once like that before in another restaurant...
Read moreFirst everything seemed fine... Then they forgot a wine glass for my wife, which appeared after 15 minutes and 3 times asking. Then the food arrives, and my wife got the wrong dish, the waiter got quite disturbed, but goes and change the plate, which was fairly quick. We ordered a salad, that didn't arrive, and asking for it after almost finishing the main dish, provokes a very bad reaction from the waiters he actually raised his voice at us, saying that it is being prepared! Also bread costs 2 euros pr. Person, and is not something you get an option for, it just arrived. Just dry bread, no olive oil!
Overall a very bad experience. The waiter was very stressed, even if was not many guests.

Read moreWe had lunch at La Posta. We had ravioli, gnocchetti, fried lamb and a antipasto. The lamb was fried to a degree were it tasted mainly of cooking oil. The ravioli was okay. The antipasto was really nice so was the gnocchetti. The food however arrived separately. One main course arrived long after the other people had finished their meals. The waiter was under the influence and all over the place. Say no to the bread. It is a hidden expens of 12euro per basket and they just keep refilling them and charging - without asking. It is...
