What a find, this little gem in the main square of San Giovanni. Amazing southern Italian fish dishes with a creative flare. I’ll be craving the mezzi paccheri with prawns and curry not to mention the baby octopus starter (house speciality) for a long time. The perfect break from the rich meaty Emiliano food. The owners’ Bob and Kate made us feel like long lost friends and were the perfect hosts. We’ll definitely be stopping here again while traveling...

We stopped by without a reservation and although they were fully booked, they agreed to cook an early dinner for us, before guests with the reservations arrive.

We were served an amazing octopus salad and very fresh tuna steaks in sesame, both very delicious, accompanied by fresh Pecorino wine.

Ristorante di pesce nella piazza centrale di Persiceto, visitato a cena su prenotazione.

In questo luogo è possibile cenare ai tavoli esterni posti su un angolo della piazza oppure nella sala interna curata ma informale, circondati da vini, polpi in varie declinazioni e qualche piccolo oggetto a sorpresa, come ad esempio l'originale poggia posate.

I piatti sono buoni e di quantità giuste, per quanto riguarda la qualità se ne esce sicuramente contenti. Uno dei due primi piatti ci ha convinto un po' meno, sul resto tutte impressioni positive! Bella la presentazione del polipo rinchiuso che fa da piatto -vetrina del ristorante visto il suo nome .

Il personale è generalmente attento e non si risparmia in spiegazioni e consigli quando richiesto.

Prezzi importanti quindi magari riservate un pasto qui per un evento, per un momento speciale!
