I know, hidden gem is a phrase used too many times, but there are occasions when it perfectly fits. Fornesighe is a secluded, old village in the Dolomites, with a vibe of really old times, with the multi-century old wooden houses. All You get here is silence, calmness, relaxation and great views. Locanda Nona Gio provides a perfect accommodation to this with their cozy but very tidy rooms and a perfect terrace viewing onto the mountains. Jasmeen and Giuseppe also operate a restaurant under the rooms, and I can't be thankful enough that they opened it just for us on a Thursday evening. Without exaggeration I can say that this was my loveliest restaurant experience! Everything was simply perfect ❤️ The location is amazing, situated in a lovely small village, very tranquil with amazing view of the mountains Giuseppe and Jasmeen are so passionate about what they have created and it is a joy to hear about their knowledge and more importantly: taste it! 😋 Giuseppe is a magician and has so much creativity.
