20.10.2024, paid a visit to this beautiful place with along with family. Before i start, would like to say that we have been to many places around the area and in general around the world so we do have something to compare with and know exactly what we talking about. Starting from the beginning. At the place that is counting themselves as upscale restaurant no one is meeting you at the entrance, and when you catch a running waiter, he looks at you as if why are you here and only then advises you to sit down. Once we sat NO ONE even looked at our side for another 15 minutes until we couldn’t wait any longer and asked for menu from again very running waiter. Order process took ages. Ok it happened. Thank god. Speaking of the menu its not too big, what we thought only best selections are listed so everyone ordered different things to try. Menu is pricey, and of course we expected something interesting and delicious as we came to the very famous villa to enjoy. Once dishes started coming we could not believe our eyes…. Honestly beef tar tar with plain meat , zero additional spices, couple of leaves of salad on the side?! 18 euros?) and why would you take the snails out of the shell ? It is part of the entertainment process to pick them out by yourself. Ok, passing to the mains. Absolutely nothing special gnocchi, any osteria would offer better interpretation, steak was good but the side salad leaves? Cut like in cheapest train station restaurant!! And cherry on top (this masterpiece you may find at the photo) - tadaa - fish Baccalà the most horrible thing we have ever seen !! Cheapest cut tomato, along with some croutons as if they were taken out of the deep freezer and fried not property, this didnt even taste fresh! 22 euros for this main? Come on, No thank you, we would rather not. And last but not least, we would think that desserts would fix a little bit the ruined evening…. They didn’t, for 8-10 euros we received very basic tiramisu from supermarket and an OK panacotta which was 6/10. (To me it tasted like flour). The entire evening look too long to be served and was absolutely not worth a single minute spent there. Would we recommend? No. Would we come back?...

I've been here 5 or 6 times over the past 5 years so my review might be a bit baised. I simply love this hotel. The area is extremely quite. The staff are very polite and laid back. No stress, just plain good mannered people who know that whoever visits want some time to relax and take it easy for a few days. The restaurant is excellent. The menu is made up of items that one does not find in run of the mill restaurants. Specialities such as grilled Oca (goose) and a ravioli dish with tartufo is not found everywhere. To top it all, the restaurant serves wines and Prosecco produced by the owners. The name Villa Sandi is now world renowned and the restaurant staff are very knowledgable about the wines they offer. If you do visit, I recommend you finish your meal with a 'grappa baricata' produced by Villa Sandi' .||The rooms of the 'locanda' are extreemly charming with wooden floors and ceilings and the hotel is set in beautiful gardens and the vines from which their Prosecco is produced. ||The location is approximately 1 hour's drive from Venice and neighboring Treviso and it is set in a valley just under the Dolomites.||Visitors to the Locanda can book a tour of Villa Sandi, the place where the Prosecco is produced and stored. Indifference to the guest

After we had received a reservation and confirmation via a well-known booking platform, we arrived last week. Unfortunately, the Locanda was no longer occupied and our ringing was not heard. In the kitchen I then found three young guys. We were neither greeted nor welcomed. On my reference we had booked a room was answered with "impossible". The young man has then turned on his computer after some time and also found my booking. With the indication he was "overbooked" and that was a mistake of the platform, we stood there in the evening without a room. The point is not that a mistake happens. It's about how you deal with it! An apology would have been the least. In addition, the "host" should have tried to find a room for us and mediate.

Unfortunately, the young man preferred to talk to a colleague from Villa Sandi. We then left without being seen off. This cannot and must not happen to a house with this name. An absolute...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Locanda Sandi with a group of coworkers, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The seasonal dishes, especially the ones featuring pumpkin, were a true highlight—each dish was bursting with rich autumn flavors and beautifully crafted. Despite the size of our group, the staff did an excellent job, ensuring that all the meals were served promptly and with great attention to detail. The restaurant’s charming décor, combined with its warm and cozy ambiance, made it the perfect setting for a relaxing evening with colleagues. I highly recommend Locanda Sandi for both business gatherings and personal dinners—it offers a flawless dining experience.

Ho pernottato alla Locanda Sandi. L’ho scelta perché mi sono piaciute le foto disponibili on-line e sul sito. Quel fascino rustico e un po’ retró! E non mi sn sbagliata. La struttura è davvero molto bella e curata. È composta da una struttura adibita al pernottamento, un ristorante e un’area degustazione vini. Perchè la Locanda Sandi fa parte della più grande Villa Sandi, i cui proprietari sono viticoltori da più generazioni e si sono aggiudicati il “world’s best vineyards 2023”!🏆 La camera era deliziosa, uno dei materassi più comodi che ho mai provato. 🛌 Mi è piaciuta l’importante presenza di legno in tutta la locanda. Bollitore e selezione di bevande calde in camera. ☕️🫖 Erano presenti anche dei libri 📚 Il bagno, senza finestra, aveva tutto l’occorrente, comprese le ciabattine di spugna omaggio. 🩴 Prodotti da bagno con una buonissima profumazione🪷 Per la presenza del classico asciugacapelli che abbiamo tutti a casa, la Locanda Sandi si merita la lode!! Colazione RICCHISSIMA! Di più non si Poteva chiedere. muffin🧁crostate🥧croissant🥐 pane🍞marmellate e nutella nei vasetti piccoli (NON LE MONOPORZIONI IN PLASTICA!!!!!!), frutta (pure l’avocado)🍎🫐🍓🥝🍍🍌🥑 , frutta secca🥜semi vari🫘uova 🍳e piatti caldi🫕 La sala della colazione è una bellissima veranda affacciata sul grande giardino e ricca di colori e piante. 🪴💐 La stessa veranda è adibita per il ristorante in cui ho cenato. Ho scelto, manco a dirlo, un Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene DOCG Villa Sandi Extra Dry che si è sposato perfettamente con la cena. I bigoli al cacio e pepe erano davvero squisiti!!! Tra vino e cibo, le papille gustative erano in fermento🤤🤤 I prezzi, in particolare per il vino, mi sono sembrati davvero buoni! Servizio a tavola professionale ma anche informale. Un mix perfetto!! Un grande GRAZIE a tutto lo staff di Locanda Sandi e in particolare alla hospitality manager, i camerieri di sala e Fiorenza 🙏 grazie mille e a presto🤗
