Ristorante Giorgione's — Restaurant in Varano de' Melegari

Rather good, to my surprise! I was there with some colleagues for a meeting and we spent there the whole day. The big room put at our disposal was perfect, but what was very good were the courtesy and the food! The staff was very nice, professional and spoke a rather good English. They welcomed us with a rich coffee-buffet. Buiscuits, cakes, fresh fruits... and of course coffee and tea. The food at lunch was... well, average (pasta, prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano, salame, salad, fresh fruits... Ad libitum!) But the dinner... That was a surprise! You can see the pictures of the menu and of the dishes... Of course you can't taste them but trust me: of an unexpected high quality! In my opinion one of the best places to eat where. Amazing cooked local food prepared in new ways which make you experience the bond between past and present. Special service, very nice waiters and good wines. Talking about the budget, let's just say in the medium of resturants but here the quality/price ratio is over the top. Posto consigliato soprattutto per gli amanti di carne.

CIBO: trovate il loro menù con prezzi sul loro sito. Non hanno moltissime scelte ma quello che offrono lo fanno molto bene. La carne di ottima qualità. A me piace la carne rossa al sangue e devo dire che quello che avevo ordinato io (filetto alla brace) era perfetto! Anche il roast-beef che abbiamo ordinato era veramente buono e condito benissimo. Le patate alla brace sono veramente buone, consiglio di ordinare quelle se le volete come contorno. Non lo abbiamo ordinato ma abbiamo visto dagli altri tavoli che l’ hamburger che servono è molto grande! E sembrava davvero buonissimo, tanto che potrei ordinarlo la prossima volta. I primi sono piatti classici che non abbiamo ordinato perché abbiamo appunto deciso di andare con i secondi, ma sembrano essere delle porzioni abbondanti. Insomma, per la carne lo consiglio sicuramente.

SERVIZIO: personale molto cordiale e disponibile.

LOCALE: pulito, ordinato e spazioso. Tavoli non troppo attaccati.

PREZZO: il rapporto qualità prezzo è nella media, forse più conveniente che il altro posti.
