Circolo ARCI "La Favorita" — Restaurant in Vecchiano

Really nice food in a medium environment. The restaurant owners are super friendly and great cooks, but the experience itself was not superbe like the other reviews suggest. We were welcomed to sit in the garden which was more like a covered terrace with 100s of mosquitos and despite being the only customers at the time (we went early with 2 kids) it took quite some time before we were helped. We decided to sit inside, the atmosphere there is good. Once the food came it was all worth it but if I would have known this upfront, and also given the fact that the prices are comparable to better places I’ve been in the area, I wouldn’t 100%...

We stumbled upon this restaurant in the heat of the afternoon, when none of the other places were open. We were welcomed by the nicest lady, speaking perfect English, and willing to show us the best seat at the terrace and translate the menu. The menu, although short, included seafood and meat dishes. The seafood was absolutely perfect, the meaty pasta a bit too peppery, but that was not a big issue. Overall a great experience,...

Sera di Sabato, di ritorno dal mare (Marina di Vecchiano) con voglia di mangiare pesce, troviamo in rete, per caso, questo Circolo ARCI di Vecchiano: piacevolissima sorpresa! Eravamo gli unici avventori (ed erano le 21:30), in un bel giardino molto curato e profumatissimo (siepe di gelsomino) mantenuto dai gestori del ristorante (coppia di Italiani, moglie e marito, di origine Albanese). Servizio curato e molto gentile, buon vino "della casa" (bianco) e buon cibo (antipasto caldo di mare, spaghetti allo scoglio, frittura di calamari, torta al limoncello e semifreddo ai frutti di bosco). I prezzi non sono tanto "da Circolo ARCI" (nel senso che non sono tanto bassi) ma il posto merita una visita (e un ritorno) per il cibo (buono, ben presentato e ben servito), il profumatissimo giardino e la gentilezza...
