Ristorante-Bar-Pizzeria Santa Teresa — Restaurant in Vedano Olona

This was the second time that I went to dine at Santa Teresa. In my opinion the pizza served in this pizzeria is very good, from the dough to the ingredients used, and the menu has a wide array of pizzas on offer.

The atmoshpere of this place is on the average that can be found in any other pizza place.

What left me bewildered was the service received by the staff. I walked into the restaurant at 9.05pm. I was by myself, so it was not hard to get a table for one, even if it was a Friday night; the restaurant was fairly empty at the time I arrived, and all customers were eating their dinners. (This is a very important aspect!).

As soon as I sat down at my table, I was presented with a menu by a member of the staff. Good start. But it did not last for long. My wait to place my order was astonishly way long, as the waiter showed up after 25 minutes. I guess he had completely forgotten about me who was the only one had to order at that time. (First mistake).

Pizza arrived just five minutes afterwards my order. Well, I was the only one waiting for it! After eating my pizza, which was very tasty, I wanted to order a liquer; after about 10 minutes my drink had not delivered to my table, yet. He had forgotten to put it through the system. (Second mistake).

To make things from bad to worse, when I was about to leave the place and approach the till to pay the bill, I stood unattended for about 5/7 minutes in front of it, with no members of staff that would make me pay my bill. Another wait then. (Third mistake).

As a result, I spent more than an hour to consume a pizza and a liquer. Way too much. I may aspect to get this level of service on busy Saturday evenings, when many people have to order at the same time, but not when the restaurant is empty and the evening is about to end soon.

I would recommend this place for the food, but I will not definetely recommend it for the service that has been by far the worst I have ever received in my life. This aspect must be improved soon.
