My girlfriend an I had an absolutely fantastic meal here. There is no menu and you are served whatever is in season and has been freshly prepared that day. Every course managed to surprise us.. the flavors were not only good but shockingly good. Everything is made in house, including the bread. The herb-stuffed pork roast literally stunned us. Having never seen a menu, we were curious what the bill would look like; having had one of the best meals of our lives we were happy to pay any price put before us... and were surprised at how good value the entire experience was. We also made some friends at the table next to us, who have been coming here for years. The food, the atmosphere, the service, the view, all 5/5 easy. I couldnt recommend this restaurant more. It is easily worth the drive from Palermo or Cefalu and I have no idea why it is not listed in any travel/food...

Brilliant, genuine siciliana food. We passed by this restaurant a few days earlier on the way to cefalu via ventimiglia - otherwise we'd have had no idea this gem was only 3km from our villa. We rocked up and asked for a table for the 4 of us and despite there being a 50th wedding anniversary party, we were welcome. The food is the menu of the house as other reviewers have mentioned - I probably wouldn't have chosen better a la carte, so very pleased. A large selection of hot and cold antipasti followed by some great different types of primi and some delicious grilled and roasted meat for secondi. Thought that was it and then some amazing deep fried pastries with pistachio cream inside. Haven't had a better meal in Sicilia and I've had a few. Really couldn't recommend more. Io sono letteralmente senza parole. Ho mangiato per la prima volta in questo bellissimo ristorante, giorno 9 ottobre 2016, in occasione del battesimo di mia nipote. Location rustica con grandi spazi immersi nel verde. C'è anche una area parco giochi - con prato in erba sintetica - per i più piccoli. Andiamo al cibo, punto forte della mia recensione. Si mangia a base di carne, in stile "agriturismo", ma tutto quello che ho mangiato è stato per me una sorpresa: c'erano la salsiccia, i salumi, le verdure, formaggi e melanzane, ok, ma tutto era cucinato in un modo particolare e nuovo per me. Esempio: i "giri" (la bietola) amalgamata con funghi, ricotta e fonduta di formaggi; panzerottini fritti vuoti accompgnati con la ricotta fresca. Questo per fare un esempio e per far capire che tutto è, si, rustico ma RAFFINATO. Risotto ottimo, secondo di pasta idem. Anche il secondo di carne di maiale e l'involtino erano buonissimi! Per finire la torta. Senza parole. Ne ho mangiate due fette! Panna sopra e strati (se non erro) di: crema di pistacchi, caffè, ricotta. Una goduriaaa! Sottolino e preciso che TUTTO viene ideato e cicinato dalla moglie del proprietario del locale, Giovanni, che saluto e si ricorderà sicuramente di me per la battuta della ricotta. Quando gli dissi: "cucinate benissimo e anche la ricotta è buonissima!" E lui: "Si, soprattutto quella, ma non la facciamo noi" :P Consiglio a tutti questo locale perché merita tantissimo. Troverete cibo di primissima qualità, prezzi nella norma, personale al TOP, gentilissimo, e una location suggestiva e comoda se avete dei bimbi piccoli visto che vi è una aerea giochi dove poterli fare divertire.
