Bar Osteria Le Piere di Martini Paolo — Restaurant in Verona

Seems like a nice local osteria, but I had a bad experience. I ordered half a chicken, and they gave me a very thin completely burnt chicken. I wasn't sure if that was the normal way of preparing the chicken there, so I didn't complain. However, when we left, another guest who ordered the same dish, got a normal well cooked chicken. It's clear that they gave me the burnt small one, just because I'm not a local Italian, but a foreign tourist who will never come back anyway. Sad. Upon arrival at the nearby Agriturismo Tent Delo Relais, we arrived hungry and walked down to Bar osteria le piere di Martini Paolo to eat. The welcome was wonderful, the food was fresh and beautiful and expertly cooked, the beer and wine were perfect. We returned several times including for the 3rd anniversary party !! and will definitely visit again. Siamo andati a mangiare la settimana scorsa in un gruppo di circa 25 persone e purtroppo devo dire che mi sono trovato male. Bis di primi ,lasagnette al tartufo che di tartufo non sapevano proprio e bigoli all' anatra (quelli a onor del vero non erano male). Il problema è arrivato con il secondo, credo fosse polenta e spezzatino, dico credo perché la polenta era liquida e lo spezzatino anche , visto che annegava nell'olio. Il risultato è stato rotolarsi nel letto tutta la notte per poi scoprire che molti di noi hanno avuto gli stessi sintomi , o peggio , forse anche per il freddo che c'era nella taverna dove abbiamo cenato.Di solito non faccio recensioni negative ,ma stavolta non si poteva non farlo , anche a fronte di un conto di 35 euro a persona, compreso un antipasto con salame e formaggio, acqua, vino dolce e caffé .
