Jin Gu is the freshest Asian cuisine you will find in Vicenza Italy. It is amazingly flavorful and fresh. As if it was delivered straight from the farm to the table. The Thai fried rice is an infusion of spices, seafood, and fried rice cooked to perfection. The spicy twist on this fried rice is a treat within itself. If you are looking to try something new, this is your dish. The classic sweet and sour chicken dish. Was deliciously fresh. The vegetables sautéed to perfection with tidbits of pineapples, and the chicken to bread ratio was well matched. Not to saucy, but the chicken was covered just right. The grilled dumplings were delightful as well.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. I am an English speaker, so there was a little bit of language barrier. I am learning Italian, so hopefully, my next visit will be a little better smoother. I do not have anything bad to say about this restaurant. It was a wonderful dining experience. If you are in the Vicenza area and you have a taste for fresh Chinese food. Check out Jin Gu and let me know what you think? This was a delicious...
Read moreUpdate- The soy sauce is VERY watery. The sweet and sour chicken and springs rolls are still amazing but the Pad Thai doesn’t seem to be the same as it has been in the past. It’s now a very mild PadThai, (which some people may prefer) but I always want the spice which seems to have disappeared. Was open on New Year’s Day! Go now, and make sure you order the spring rolls! It’s SO good! We ordered espresso, Pad Thai, edamame, beef and peppers, fried rice, white rice, sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls(which tasted homemade), mochi ice cream and green tea. Pricing is very reasonable. 46euro for a white table cloth meal. Our hostess and waiter was extremely nice. Dog friendly 🐾. I’ve already gone back and ordered again for take out! I still prefer dining in. Make sure you get the spring rolls, my picture doesn’t...
Read moreDefinitely the best chinese I've been to in Vicenza. I was curious about the offer of different asian menus, expecially the thai one that is not easy to find, and I have to say I was surprised of the quality. Even if outside it looks like a standard chinese restaurant, inside the place was clean, elegant and minimal. The service was very nice and attentive too. We tried the marvellous Takoyaki, steamed and pan fried dumplings, veggie udon, stir fried noodles with seafood and, from the thai menu, the beef matasaman curry with white rice. Everything absolutely delicious and to recommend. We've enjoyed every dish and I will definitely try more from the thai menu next time. The menu is not "all you can eat" but I assure the prices are fair and totally worth it. It became my fave place for...
