Scialì — Restaurant in Vieste

Very unpleasant experience. The service is horrible, waiters just dont care. Asked for ashtray two times and havent got one. The waiter is very pushy recommending the most expensive things only; we fell for this and ordered the lobster pasta which is priced 35 euros (for 2 persons - it clearly says in the menu) , but when the bill came they charged 70, saying that even if the dish is for two persons only the price in the menu is for 1 person, so the dish is 70 - 35*2=70. We ate at fine dining restaurants in Vieste, funny enough, lobster pasta and paid less. The starter (carpacio di salmone) was actually smoked salmon with iceberg salad…a total rip off. I do not recommend...

This place is great, really great! Atmosphere of a tropical bar in Thailand but with nice italian food offerings at ok prices for the area. The staff works from morning to late night always keeping a positive attitude. We had pizzas for lunch (for american style pizza fans you’ll like it). Went there twice for dinner and had the parmigiana with polpo, then seafood pasta each (yummy and generous portions) second dinner we had an amazing cold seafood salad, fried calamari with salad and another pasta with monkfish- also good stuff! We could not recommend the place...

Siamo stati per una settimana al lido Oasi, insieme una coppia di amici. Siamo stati coccolati per tutto il tempo, è un lido che offre tutto, parcheggio, tabacchino, bar, possibilità di pranzare con piatti veloci e direttamente sulla spiaggia( panini, insalatoni, ecc) , serviti anche sotto l’ombrellone e di altissima qualità ( fanno un panino “Oasi” da paura), un lido immenso e una mare incantevole. Questo lido è dotato anche di un ristorante bellissimo in stile etnico, Scialì, con tavoli quasi sulla sabbia. Ci siamo stati 3 volte, sia pranzo che cena. Che dire, abbiamo mangiato benissimo, sono riusciti anche ad accontentare un nostro amico che non mangia pesce, facendogli spiatti squisiti. Ottimi i pacchetti all’astice, i quadrotti con la cernia, la carbonara di mare “ una chicca del ristorante, con crema di peperoni gialli pecorino e tonno, la fine del mondo”, abbiamo assaggiato anche la spigola al sale, perfetta e con una salsina paurosa. Servizio ottimo, caposala e camerieri molto gentili e disponibili, servizio velocissimo, considerando il giorno di ferragosto con il ristorante pieno, non abbiamo aspettato per niente. Qualità prezzo ottimo considerando la qualità dei prodotti e il posto, abbiamo mangiato sotto un’ombrellone di paglia quasi sulla sabbia. Esperienza bellissima , non volevamo andar via, ci...
