Very good restaurant with fantastic food and friendly service. The location is slightly bizarre as it’s behind an industrial zone near Empoli however once you walk up to the outdoor area of the restaurant it’s really nice. Food was all very local dishes and well executed. The charcuterie starter was very good. I had the spaghetti with black truffle which was tasty. The wine selection is extensive (not always the case in this region who tend to favour local wines only), and final nod to the very good coffee at the end...

What a gem of a restaurant in the hills of Tuscany! It’s attached to the Leonardo Da Vinci wine production factory but when you’re up here you barely notice the factory and you can see the whole countryside! The food is optimal and the service great. Insospettabilmente nascosto dietro le cantine Leonardo, nei pressi di Vinci, si trova questo ristorante assolutamente delizioso. L'ambiente è accogliente e molto curato, con possibilità di essere accomodati sia all'interno che all'esterno se il tempo lo consente. Menu toscano ma con scelte non scontate e ovvie. Carne di prima qualità, la mia tagliata di Angus si scioglieva in bocca e la cottura era esattamente quella che avevo chiesto. Menzione speciale per il Vitel tonnè, assolutamente fantastico; la salsa cremosa e perfettamente bilanciata negli ingredienti, nessuno dei quali prevale ma tutti concorrono alla definizione del gusto. Carta dei vini ben fornita con ampia scelta dalle bollicine ai bianchi e dai rosati ai rossi. Le persone in sala sono cordiali e competenti, sapendo consigliare abbinamenti sia tra le portate che con i vini. Una nota a parte, è uno dei pochi posti dove nel bagno era disponibile lo smacchiatore con la spazzola, un gesto di civiltà. Che dire, ci torneremo presto...
