You must eat here.
If you only eat one meal in your time in this magical village or if you think you're just driving through, stop here. Eat here. I had dinner for one and was delighted to find a cozy corner in this ancient building. The ambience is a mesh of textures, ceilings that curve in and out, and velvet lined chairs. There is an air of homely luxury that will have you feeling relaxed. The meal surpasses the ambiance (which was already a high bar). For a start, the kitchen rewards you for visiting their restaurant with a basket of three different breads. They are all fantastic, but the aromatic surprise of the anise bread is something you can't miss. Please try the bread with and without the charcoal butter the house provides. This little enigmatic gem is smoother than the butter you know and intriguingly grey. If a basket of divine breads and lunar butter wasn't enough, you will also be rewarded with a taste of the finest meat for you to pair with the bread.
As the staff treated me with such a welcoming and warm attitude, I barely noticed if there was a wait for my main. I entered the restaurant in search of gnocchi and was elated to be served a plate that took this Italian classic and turned it into a piece of modern art. The texture of soft and light gnocchi was complemented by the fine crunch of fried potatoes. The rich meat sauce added a salty zing to tie everything together. And if you wanted to feel extra special, they added foam to the mix to give it that " am I in a Michelin star restaurant?" feel.
As all good things must come to an end, Flurin leaves you wanting another visit with their dessert. I had a beautiful, and I mean gorgeous dessert here. I was so full both in spirit and in physical stomach capacity that I couldn't believe I was able to eat the whole thing. I think they sprinkle the restaurant with magic so that you will always have room for dessert. You must try this chocolate and ice-cream treasure before you go. It was pillowy and rich with chocolate and warmth.
Flurin is a place I would trek the four hours it took me to get to this region, just to eat there again. Thank you to all the staff for preparing a bit of magic with...

One night stay just wasn't enough! We had the pleasure of experiencing this historic delight during our honeymoon road trip.
This 13th century building has been decorated with its history on proud display with original walls and beams in superb condition. The suites and restaurant and just beautiful.
Sportscar Friendly Parking - We were able to book in advance, an off site, secure, underground garage for our sports car. After a 5 hour drive, we were extremely impressed with the facilities. Electric gated, fob remote access and an individual garage gave us peace of mind and a great 1st impression.
We were greeted by a lovely lady who let us drop our bags off 1st before driving the car a short distance to the garage.
Suite - To our surprise we were complimented a free room upgrade to the main suite and wow what an amazing space this is. The bed area is platformed above the bathroom, with large kitchen and living room space. The finish is exceptional with every detail carefully planned, from Italian designer furniture to exquisite mini bar offerings.
Restaurant - Casual fine dining at its very best. The food is excellent as well as the wine choices, with staff also checking we were happy with the wine temperature.
Staff - Front of house staff were super friendly and helpful for both the suite and restaurant. Attention to detail was excellent. We were leaving early to get on the road to Stelvio and the team offered to supply a selection of sandwiches, cake, fruit and drinks.
Thank you - We stayed in 6 locations across 4 countries for our honeymoon eurotrip and Flurin was a spectacular highlight for us. Thank for making it special and we hope to...
Read moreWanted to put some comments right after this nice experince. This is my first review on google and this place deserves it.
I came here to pass Stelvio, also wanted to see Glurns and stay here by the time, so I had only 2 days here. The first day I ate in the restaurant of the hotel I stayed, and the second day(today as I write this), I wanted to eat here. And I'm so sad now that I didn't come here the first day too. I didn't know anything about this place, and I'm really amazed.
First, the staff: one by one, extremly nice, kind and helpful people. I loved each of them, they definitely enjoy what they do.
Second, the food: It is a good fine dining experince, I didn't expect this quality in such a small town. They first brought some starters, a then I got capelletti as main course. Both were extremely tasty, you can see the quality with your eyes, then smell it, and then taste it. They also have a nice selection of drinks. Butter with activated charcoal is a nice idea :)
Third, the ambiance: The place is quite nice, very well designed. I've just read the history of this place, and they did and amazing job.
Lastly the music: as an amateur musician, I always love some good music while eating. So add Beatles, Pink Floyd, Elvis, Lynyrd Skynyrd and all od others on top of everything, you find yourself singing while enjoying all these experience.
Cheers guys, thank for creating such...
