Food is expensive but good. Experienced through the week with eating here every day that waiters will forget what you ordered. Getting wrong sear on steak several times, ordering natural water getting sparkle, getting the wrong drink if you get it at all without reminding them. The real star subtractor is that a friend couple was hosting their wedding here and have had alot of trouble with the management of the restaurant. With several items planned beeing forgot (like dessert not beeing served on the wedding dinner evening and management suggesting that they could serve it for breakfast the day after). Cake beeing served without cutlery, vases to be supplied for flower decorations beeing dirty with wax, management banning guests from eating in the restaurant. Considering this is the only eating opportunity in tuscany forever. This is really sad and i hope the experience changes for future guests. Food is good and the view is just absolute grand. Edit: the response on some of the reviews here paint a wide brush of the attitude of the management of this osteria.

The drive up here is definitely fun for a 4x4 vehicle and the view is unparalleled. The interior, the tug on the senses with the soft wind chimes when the wind blows…it’s something of a dream. The service was brilliant. Unfortunately forgot to ask our waitresses name but she was attentive and really friendly. She is one of the highlights of our time in Tuscany. Apart from Italian, she spoke English and German with us which was lovely. The food was good, I like that there were a couple virgin mock tails - you can tell that a lot of thought had been put in to every detail. Will visit again and also recommend it! The live music was absolutely divine - well done to the musicians.

Nice place, the plus is the opening hours not closing between 14-19 as usual trattorias/osterias. Very friendly service and staff, trying their best. The minus was a few scars in details. This place on a hilltop in the tuscany scenery deserves better. I don’t want to see a bottle of cleaner hang among glasses, the fridges with ice cream in the restaurant area. And especially the lady of advanced age (probably the owner or head of staff/manager) sitting in the corner giving a loud orders and watching everything with a not so friendly face expression. Just felt being watched. Summary: little above-average food, friendly staff, but the devil's in detail. This place deserves golden touch. Probably great for families with...
