Vecchia Locomotiva — Restaurant in Wipptal - Alta Vall'Isarco

It's a nice pizzeria located opposite to the Brenner Outlet Center. When we're already there in Brenner, we went there to eat lunch and preferred to eat Pizza Luis, Tirolese and Prosciutto. They were all tasting amazing! 🤤 The pizza variety they have on the menu is very good. They have around 32 different types of pizza. Many of them includes Sardelen. Next time, I'm planning to try one of them. Just be careful if you are there at the weekend or during holidays, it might be different to find a table because it could get really full...

Besides the great food, the patio is a nice escape route for getting away from rail authorities after doing some fun 'train surfing'. Once you climb the wall, you navigate through some thick brush, then just run up the forest hillside and camp out for a few hours until things die down. Then you can move Southbound, then North towards the Austrian border where you just open a gate, and then take a short walk...

Super leckere Pizzen !!! Und das zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Die Getränke sind allerdings hier in Italien etwas teurer, als im benachbarten Tirol (Österreich). Zumindest die alkoholischen Getränke. Das Restaurant ist stark frequentiert, weil es eben sehr gut ist. Mittags muss man damit rechnen, dass man einige Minuten lang auf einen freien Tisch warten muss. Zumindest dann, wenn auch das Outlet Center stark besucht ist. Für den 2. Besuch, an einem Abend, hatten wir dann telefonisch reserviert, was problemlos funktioniert hat. Ob das mittags auch geht, kann ich nicht sagen. Anreise entweder mit der Bahn, z.b. der S3 von Innsbruck oder aus dem Wipptal. Wer mit dem Auto kommt, parkt am besten im kostenlosen Parkhaus vom...
