Yesterday evening me and my fiancée decided to check this place after many suggestions from our friends. When we arrived the place was empty and we were warmly welcomed by the owner (at least we think she was) and sat down at a table of our choice. She shortly after brought the menus so that we could decide what to eat. When we were ready she came to take the order, in which she gently responded to our requests and advised us for the better, all the while being very professional and meticulous. We settled down for a plate of cold cuts from Spain as an appetizer to share with a glass of Metodo Classico, and a Florentine steak from a Portuguese cow as the main dish, also to share since it was almost a kilo, and a side dish of vegetables. Shortly after she brought us some bread and a welcome entree on the house. The wine was really fresh and had a really sweet aftertaste. The cold cuts were delicious, and so was the paté of olives brought with them. The bread was still hot as if it had been just made. It was perfect. After the entree she brought us 8 unique kinds of salt to pair with the steak, and then the steak, still sizzling on the black marble, with an aroma that was mouth watering. We sadly had to leave because of a migraine that brought my fiancée to tears but we will surely return because everything was perfect, they even packed the leftover food for us to take home. Spontaneous visit without a reservation….. but of a struggle to get a table however worked out in the end. Excellent service and food, really nice outdoor seating area. Very Italian, very good and surprisingly lots of excellent steak choices, chef obviously loves his steaks with an excellent selection of Steaks , including dry aged. Add a bottle or 2 of a local Valpolicella from Ferugu and your set up for a perfect evening.Definitely...
