We came without a book and it was full. Luckily the owner allowed us to dine in. We took fried duck, stir fried vegetables and curry fried rice. It was excellent. I forgot to take any photos because we enjoyed the food too much. For dessert, we took mango sticky rice that was delicious and met my asian taste. Ristorante recentemente aperto. Piccolo e intimo ha alle pareti delle belle rappresentazioni tipiche locali. Abituata a ristoranti etnici con cuochi non originari dei luoghi delle cucina proposta, sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa scoprendo che in cucina cuoco e aiuto cuoco sono effettivamente thailandesi. La cameriera ha dato un valore aggiunto all'esperienza in quanto, anche lei di origine thailandese, ha saputo rispondere a numerose domande anche sulla cultura di questo Paese. Il menu assaggiato era di tre portate proposto attraverso una formula coupon, più alcuni piatti alla carta. I sapori sono semplici ma genuini, si percepisce la preparazione in cucina, molto differente da quelle già precotte o congelate. Per chi avesse voglia di provare qualcosa di particolare consiglio di ciò che ho assaggiato: Il riso bianco accompagnato da una sorta di zuppa densa a base di latte di cocco e pollo e il dolce: latte di cocco con delle palline di farina (non ricordo che tipo) . La musica di sottofondo rispecchia l'atmosfera ed è a volume contenuto. Le birre tipiche sono risultate un buon accostamento con alcuni dei piatti saltati.
