Trattoria La Cittadella — Restaurant in Zuccarello

We came and ordered 2 pastas, they told us it was too complicated to cook 2 different pastas and we should eat the same thing, I've never come across this ever before (one of them was pasta with pesto which would have been already made! The staff is really unfrendly(atleast if you dont speak italian). The food is okey but the portions are more like for children than adults. The gluten free option was cold salami,ham and cheese with dry bread. You cant order more Than 2 kinds of food,because it would be too much efford. My 7 year old autistic,gluten and milk intolerant sister couldnt eat more than a few slices of ham and salami. The place is labeld as a pizzeria but they dont serve pizza,strange place...

Ieri sera, 22/7/2023, mi trovavo casualmente a Zuccarello a visitare il paese (bellissimo tra l'altro) e verso l'ora di cena vidi questo ristorante sotto i portici. Visto che dovevo mangiare decisi di fermarmi lì e mai scelta fu più azzeccata! Siccome non sono un gran mangione ho deciso di prendere solo un piatto di moscardini coi piselli e, a parte l'abbondanza della porzione che era eccezionale, un gusto, una morbidezza che definire soavi è poca cosa. Alla fine ho pure fatto scarpetta e ripulito il piatto col pane! Neanche mia mamma e la mia compagna fanno dei moscardini coi piselli così buoni e probabilmente ce le porterò ad assaggiarli. Ottimo anche il tiramisù fatto da loro e dopo un caffè ho assaggiato l' "amaro del ciclista", un ottimo amaro che è stato la perfetta conclusione di una cena eccezionale. Un complimento speciale alla cameriera Katia (o Catia) per il servizio veloce e l'attenzione al cliente. Non vedo l'ora di tornare per assaggiare le altre specialità, anche se quei moscardini mi sono davvero rimasti nel cuore e avrò difficoltà a scegliere qualcos'altro sapendo quanto sono buoni.
