Cellar8 has been one of the restaurants I visit when I don't want to be disappointed with food. The last time I went, I booked it for my friend's bridal shower and the process of booking wasn't as smooth as I'd like (over the phone, I had to call back twice before getting through), but it wasn't difficult enough for me to avoid booking either.
We booked the back deck and they provided tables, table cloths and nice napkins for us. We were allowed to do decor, but it's important to note they don't want you to paste or staple anything to preserve their walls and there's no confetti allowed on the back deck because of the spaces in the wooden floor.
My group and I were under some surveillance by the manager, which was very unconformable and she was quite rude in everyone's perception... When I talked to her about it, she was gracious enough to offer an apology and change how she was responding to us. So I think that's a credit to the team. We also had a little hiccup with the bill because we were splitting it and the waiter forgot to ask. I recommend making it known whether they ask or not.
The chef came out to greet the bride to be and check on us and he was very polite, fun and gave my friend a complementary drink. His food was amazing. So big up, chef!
But overall, the event came off well, we had fun, the food was delectable, the service was decent, the ambiance and music were unbeatable as usual.

Ordered calamari and wings for appetizers. Calamari pretty much tasted like cornmeal and the wings sauce was jus just horrible! For entrees we ordered surf and turf, pastas, salmon, fish and ribs. All the steaks were ordered to be done medium well and we got them rare instead. The pastas were also very salty and the salmon was extremely dry. The fish was a very small piece of fillet for the cost, literally smaller than the palm of your hand. We sat outside and the place was also infested with bugs; flies everywhere and bugs were falling on clothes and the table. Terrible customer service is an understatement! There was only one waiter for a table of 13 and we also had to wait a long time on our bill (more than an hour) for terrible overpriced food. There was also no manager available on request to attend to our table. A supervisor came to our table and she said there was absolutely nothing they could do about the food and with all those complaints we did not get an apology. An overall bad experience, do not waste your money to come here. Food is not worth it and customer service is definitely trash. I recently used the deck at Cellar 8 for my friend's bachelorette party. I paid Karen 180K that would cover the minimum spent for my 13 guests. Upon arrival to the venue, Karen was found smoking on the same deck I paid for to use for my event, nevertheless, I did not make it an issue. As the night progressed and I worked on decorating the place, Karen was joined by 2 of her friends in smoking and drinking on the deck.
Again, I did not make it an issue, the real issue came when some of our guests did not receive their food, because of failure to communicate that the kitchen was out of what we ordered. Guest receiving the wrong order (chicken instead of shrimp) and the our delivered food being cold and salty. (Even our lettuce from the salad was not properly washed)
After respectfully voicing my concerns to Karen, she became very difficult and told me that she will not be wasting the food, and refused to remove even the dirty salad that we could not eat from our bill.
