The Ultimate Jamaican Dining Experience at The Office of Nature Imagine stepping off the beaten path, just a few hundred steps from your resort, and discovering a hidden gem that feels like a true taste of Jamaica. That’s exactly what The Office of Nature is. Forget the resort food—this is the real deal, and it’s a dining experience you won’t want to miss. A Warm Welcome and Incredible Vibe From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. They were fantastic hosts, and the whole atmosphere was a vibe of pure relaxation. We even met some of the kindest people there, sharing stories and laughs. And the live music? The singer was incredibly talented and made the evening even more memorable. The decor tells a story all its own, with flags from around the world and license plates tacked to the trees, showing just how far people have traveled to enjoy this place. It’s a beautiful reminder that this is a spot loved by people from all walks of life. Drinks and Dishes to Die For Let's talk about the food and drinks because they were out of this world. The Bob Marley drink was absolutely on point, and my wife couldn't get enough of the flavored Red Stripe bottles. As for the food, it was truly something special. My wife ordered the chicken curry with rice and beans, and she was in heaven. I went for the grilled conch with garlic curry, rice, and beans, and it was sensational. The cooks, Andre and Dynamite, are true Jamaican pitmasters. Everything is prepared over a wood-burning grill, which gives the food a unique, smoky flavor that you can even taste in the rice and beans. Oh did I neglect to mention that you can pick your own lobster out of a cage they have in the water. It's such a unique experience. Whether you choose a picnic table right on the beach, a seat at the bar, or the main dining area, the tranquil setting makes it the perfect place to unwind and savor every bite. The Office of Nature isn't just a restaurant; it’s an authentic taste of Jamaica, served with a side of incredible hospitality and a whole lot of soul. I highly recommend taking the short walk from your resort to experience this unforgettable meal. Have you ever tried authentic...

Looks tempting and fun as you walk pass it. Made the decision to eat there. We found a table, and someone came to us 20 minutes later with a menu. We let that slide - after all, it is a holiday. We ordered grilled lobster and a mix seafood platter. Everything must've come about 30 minutes later. OK we get it, lobster takes some time to grill.

And then the mix seafood platter gets placed in front of me. I couldn't see my shrimps and there were more vegetables on the plate than seafood. When I asked about this, the chef comes out with a frozen packet of mixed seafood, and says "This is what you get. The shrimps in here shrink so you don't see them." So I was going to pay $25 for not fresh seafood, on the beach, lots of vegetables and two pieces of garlic bread? I dont think so. I should've ordered a plate of garlic shrimps instead, but then again?

Unimpressed with the seafood platter, it should be renamed. When you advertise a seafood platter on the beach, give me the real thing, not some frozen seafood packet that serves one (by the way) The lobster was alright.

We asked for the cheque, it came verbally 15 minutes later. 74$. There was no way I was going to pay for that "seafood" platter, which I returned. The server finally came back with another verbal figure of 49$. No courtesy. The chef herself didn't seem to care that this was a shameful seafood platter.

This experience killed the "potential" ambience of the place, because the music suddenly seemed too loud too. We were glad to walk away from there.

Customer service, and value for money can create a better impression even if the food isn't...

Office of Nature Nestled on the vibrant shores of Bloody Bay in Negril, Jamaica, lies a culinary gem known as the Office of Nature. And within this unassuming, open-air haven, I discovered what can only be described as the single best lobster curry I have ever had – hands down, the finest food experience of my entire life. From the moment you step onto the sandy grounds of Office of Nature, you're immersed in the quintessential Jamaican vibe. The waves, the scent of the sea, and the laid-back, authentic atmosphere set the stage for something truly special. But it was the lobster curry that stole the show, a dish that transcended mere sustenance and became a memory etched in my mind The lobster was incredibly fresh, tender succulence that only truly fresh seafood can offer. Each bite was a testament to its pristine quality, perfectly cooked. Then there was the curry. Oh, the curry! It was a masterpiece of Jamaican flavors – a blend of spices that danced on my tongue. It was perfectly balanced, lobster to shine through. Served with fluffy rice and peas, and i don't know the name of the salad, but it was delicious. It wasn't just a meal; it was an experience – a moment where the stunning natural beauty of Bloody Bay, the genuine hospitality of the staff, and the unparalleled flavors of the food. If you find yourself in Negril, a visit to Office of Nature is non-negotiable, and their lobster curry is an absolute must-try. Prepare to be enchanted; it's a taste of Jamaica you won't soon forget. I can't wait to...

Office of Nature is paradise. Crystal blue waters, live music, and loving people make this place a piece of heaven on earth. I was able to choose my lobster fresh from the water, and the cook handled the rest. Office of Nature is a must visit if you visit Jamaica.
