Morino Kobayashi Shokudo — Restaurant in Aizumisato

Mother and son run this quaint shokudo restaurant. We ordered the hamburger set (largest portions I’ve seen in Japan yet), the miso tanmen and beef curry. Everything was large and very delicious. We arrived late after sightseeing and were glad to be able to lunch at 13:45. They asked us questions about whether we came to appreciate the cherry blossoms at the shrine and we asked questions of the chef who understood English well. 伊佐須美神社参拝後にお食事処を探していたところ、こちらのお店を発見し、立ち寄らせて頂きました。 店の近くに無料駐車場があるので、車で来られた方はそちらに駐車をおすすめします。駐車場から歩いてすぐ左の角に見える赤い屋根が目印です。外観から趣きのある佇まいにわくわくしながら店内へ。 店内は古き良き時代の食堂という雰囲気でした。店員さんの愛想もよく、接客もかなり丁寧でした。 今回注文させて頂いたのは、もやしあんかけラーメンです。たっぷりのもやしとちぢれ麺に絡んだピリ辛のあんかけスープに普段少食な私も箸が止まりませんでした。 辛さも、辛いのが苦手な私も全然食べられるぐらいです。むしろ食欲を増進させる程よい辛さ。麺の長さも丁度よく、もちもちとしたコシのある麺でした。もやしもシャキシャキと歯ごたえがよく美味しかったです！ 会津美里にまた来ることがあればリピートし...
