コメダ珈琲店 福岡甘木店は、県道523号線と県道33号線の交差する三福交差点にある珈琲店です。甘木駅から歩いて10分以上かかり遠いです。2017年に開業し、店内は木の温もりを感じられるようになっています。仕事の打ち合わせで、コーヒーではなく紅茶をいただきましたが美味しかったです。 コメダ珈琲店は、1968年に創業者・加藤太郎氏が名古屋市で「コメダ珈琲店」を開店しました。元々個人経営していた喫茶店でしたが、1970年からフランチャイズ展開（800店舗近く）するようになりました。コメダという名前は創業者の家業が米屋で、「コメ屋の太郎」にちなむものです。特徴は、フランチャイズながら厳密なマニュアルがあるわけではなく、本部による最低限の指導は行われているもののオーナーの裁量となる部分が大きいので、メニューやサービスなどは店舗や地域によって多少の違いがあることがあることです。また、内装は木材や漆喰、レンガを多用しています。椅子も木製です。これは店内を一望した時に、視野に占める木肌の比率（木視率）が4割以上だと人間が落ち着きを感じるという建築業界の経験則に基づいています。基本的にコーヒーを店舗では抽出せず、自社工場で抽出したものを配達して加熱して提供しているため、店舗による味のバラ付きは最低限に抑えられています。

It’s small Komeda’s Franchise, there’s not many coffee place in Asakura; so it’s the main place in which local people can gatherings. Next my table were a group of seniors people talking for hours. It’s nice place for local people and community. Egg sandwiches are super delicious...
