This is a great little cafe with a beautiful view of the Aso mountains. Their popular Hibari Dog is topped with a delicious house-made chili that is hard to find elsewhere in Japan.
The owner of the entire complex (including the next-door restaurant, bike garage, and meat store) is very friendly, and his wife runs this cafe.

All dishes were generously portioned (although the price matched the serving size) and tasted amazing. We finished absolutely everything. We walked across the pathway directly to the cafe and ordered coffees. The coffees came in individual plunger and coffee cup sets that each person could brew and pour to their own tastes. Great idea. The views of the rice fields and surrounding mountains in both stores are breathtaking. Highly recommend these cozy little cafes in...
