Inoshikatei — Restaurant in Chichibu

Me and a group of friends came to the area on a day trip (April time) from Tokyo and after doing the bungee jump we wanted somewhere to eat that's local. Despite us not realising the restraunt was closed and no one else around, she was beyond kind and opened the restraunt for us. She was so lovely and was patient with us, gave us other food from the menu to try and inside is beautiful. Was a great experience and so lovely to get to know the owner and her story....

Had lunch on long weekend here. You can pick either boar or dear for all their menu. Good food, reasonable price(mostly ¥1500 for lunch menu), unique, spacious, but was hard to find a staff even tho there were not that many customers when...

ずっと気になっていたいのしか亭さん。 2023.1.30に訪問しました。 開店10分前に到着、直後に女将さんが車で来て「おはようございます」と笑顔で出迎えて頂きました。 お店は国道140号から少し入ったところで駐車場も広め。 店内は広く、和風の落ち着いた個室が並びます。 平日限定5食の「鍋セット」をオーダー。とても気さくな女将さんですが、ご主人が亡くなられてしまったそうで現在は一人で切り盛りされているそうです。 そのためか、平日だからかは不明ですが、いくつかのメニューは「なし」でした。 それでも個室の中はきれいに清掃されていて、これだけ広い店内を管理するだけでも大変そうです。 待つこと10分、ぼたん鍋が運ばれてきました。 猪肉はクセがあるとか獣臭いとか言われるようですが、こちらでは食べにくさは無く、とても美味しい。 豚肉のような甘みは無く、まさに肉です。 男二人で行きましたが、量は女性ならちょうど良いかと思いますが男性だと少し物足りないと感じるかも。 ご飯をおかわりすればよかったかな？ 平日の開店直後でお客さんが少ない時間だったので。店を出る時も女将さんが近所のお店を教えてくださったり親切にしていただきました。 ちょっと遠いけど里山でいただくジビ...
