Asamaru — Restaurant in Chigasaki

We had a great meal at Asamaru! The Sea Urchin Sashimi (¥3,100) was fresh and creamy, one of the highlights. The Whitebait Rice Pot (¥1,050) needed a few minutes to cook properly at the table, but it was worth the wait. The whitebait was sweet and tender.

The Jumbo Whitebait Sushi (2 pieces for ¥1,300) was seriously jumbo, huge and generous! The Medium Fatty Tuna Sushi (7 pieces for ¥3,190) came in thick, big chunks sitting on small pieces of rice, definitely felt indulgent. The Asamaru Special Sushi Set (11 pieces for ¥3,480) offered a nice variety and was a great sampler. We also tried the Crab Miso Pasta (¥1,390), which was creamy with a deep umami flavour.

Everything was fresh and tasty, definitely worth a visit if...

しらす漁の網元（漁船や漁の道具を持っていて、 漁師を雇って漁業を行う漁業経営者のこと）が 営む海鮮メインの一軒家食堂「網元料理 あさまる」。

旦那さんが「ここの海鮮丼はバグってる！」と 言っていて、ずっと前から行きたかったお店。 念願叶い、3月11日の湘南しらす漁解禁日、 事前に席のみ電話予約し、初訪問してきました❤️

お店は二階建ての一軒家で、全席お座敷席の 二階席に案内されたのですが、雰囲気は海の家！ 予約しなくても並べば入店できそうですが、 予約席の人よりも投げやり（笑）な席なので、 平日でも俄然予約をおすすめします！！！！ （予約しといてよかったと思ったもん、この日）
