Nanaya — Restaurant in Fujieda

A tea company that started a sweets shop, famous for their maccha gelato. They have a store in Shibuya and this is their main shop, but I doubt any non-local tourists would come all the way out here.

Anyway, they charge extra for premium flavours. Maccha gelato starts from level 1 through 7, 7 being a premium flavour. It's also wonderfully intense and borderline savoury due to the rich maccha.

The limited in-season flavour shincha (first harvest green tea, around May) is also premium and is much milder and sweeter, a good contrast...

Good choice for me the level 1😁. They also have different flavors of ice-cream and many kind of tea. You can also buy for gifts, souvenir. This tea shop is also popular in Japan. Many Japanese people loved matcha....
