Quick service from a Japan Boxing Champion. We ordered 5 meals and had it out in less than ten minutes. I had a wonderful veal curry, Now I don't like sweet or spicy foods, but this curry was just that sweet, spicy and absolutely delicious. Plenty of vegetables and flavor. We also had fried oysters set which were the size of my 7 year old daughter closed fists scrumptious and the Miso soup that came with the set will soothe the soul. The tempura soba set was cooked to perfection. Crunchy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The ambiance of the place was calming as the scenery takes your breath away. 5...

Lovely stop if you're around the lakes of Fuji. The staff is amazingly friendly, especially to bikers. They offered to fill our bottles with nice cold water before we left. Even when being kept busy by a WHOLE BUS of people, the staff still did their best to sit our group together, and were highly attentive to us. The restaurant has a great feel to it, and was nice and open so you had space to move around. The food and drinks were excellent and there were plenty of choices for different palates. Bicycle parking was generous, and there was plenty of free parking for cars as well. See the lakes, then come get some...

Went for a short trail walk in the suicide forest and came out pretty much right behind this cute family restaurant. It was so cold so we ordered two cups of hot chocolate before the bus arrives, and that was the most delicious hot chocolate I've ever had! The staffs/owners were very nice to us too, tried to tell us which side of the bus should we take even they could only speak limited amount of English. I wish one day i could own a restaurant like this under Mt. Fuji. Looking forward to travel back to this lovely...

The place itself is nice, the staff is friendly (perhaps a little overly so), but the venison (deer meat) dish I ordered was a major disappointment. The dish had literally TWO tiny pieces of meat in it, the rest is sauce and rice. That's just a no-go. The fish lunch set (their recommendation) was on the other hand very good. Hence, 3 stars. This restaurant, or dish rather, was one of the extremely few disappointments I had in Japan (where I live).

Such a quaint little restaurant at the edge of Lake Shoji. The owner was super friendly and nice, and an English menu was helpful for visiting patrons. The food was exceptional! I had the curry shrimp tempura which was dark, rich and flavorful. My friends had the karaage chicken set and the hamburg set which were very delicious and generous in portion too! Come here for the view, the atmosphere and great food when venturing through the five lakes!
