crossed over from Akita to Aomori & stopped by at fukujusou for lunch on 28.10.2023 beautiful craggy coast which is signature along this stretch of 101 road seafood is fresh & good along this coastal stretch the restaurant food was below expectation though kaisendon sashimi fresh and sweet just not the best cuts but at ¥1600 pretty ok the touted grilled squid was a bit tough & below expectations maybe need to order the myonnaise but we don’t really like that sauce hotate sashimi cannot go wrong very fresh and sweet & gummy quite excellent.. location was beautiful & great place to stop for simple meal break 👍🏻 just ¥3600 so consider good

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Good local restaurant that sell local dish such as grilled squid and also sashimi. Located in the National highway near the World Heritage Sites Shirakami Sanchi. The scenery in this restaurant is stunning. Parking is not a problem. Affordable price and Great taste of food! You need to speak Japanese a little bit though.

R7.5月「福寿草海鮮定食屋」さんに初訪問。こちらでは、イカ料理をとことん楽しめる「イカざんまい定食（1,800円）」が名物とのことで迷わず注文しました。プラス30円でマヨネーズ追加できるのも地味に嬉しいポイント。定食の内容はボリュームたっぷりで、イカ焼き、イカ刺し、イカの塩辛、小鉢も数種類ついてきて、まさに"イカづくし"。どれも新鮮そのもので、特にイカ刺しは透き通るような美しさとねっとりした甘みが絶品でした。イカ焼きも香ばしくて、マヨネーズがよく合います。また、店の外にはイカを干している様子が見られて面白く、思わず写真を撮ってしまいました。店内は落ち着いた雰囲気で、窓からは海が一望できるオーシャンビュー。天気の良い日は最高のロケーションです。外にはベンチもあり、ちょっとした休憩にもぴったり。他にも海鮮丼や定食メニューが豊富で、どれも魅力的。地元の食材を活かした料理が並んでいて、観光客だけでなく地元の常連さんにも愛されているのが伝わってきました。注意点としては「現金のみ」なので、訪問の際はお財布の準備をお忘れなく。海の景色と新鮮なイカ料理を堪能できる、とても素敵なお店でした。また必ず伺いたいと思います。
