Sakimori — Restaurant in Fukuoka

This is a NOT a home restaurant, but an eatery inside a paid theme park (Island park, entrance fee 1200 yen per adult). You cannot eat here without paying the park entrance fee. Basically all restaurants on top of the mountain belong to this park. If you do not want to look at the park, you do not have to come up here

I was mislead by travel guides and thought it had its own entrance hence wasted half an hour looking for the door.

Once I figured out their relation, I got a nice view and a nice meal. The rest of the park is nicely taken care of and you can spend half a day here especially with kids.

This island is not someplace you can visit by random. The ferry and The bus back and forth the pier comes only every one hour so you have to plan wisely ...

The scenery was great even though it was unfortunately raining the whole day while we were there. The sashima set was great and it also comes with a little dessert on the side. You just couldn't beat local ingredients when it comes...

Perfect BBQ menu set in a good view. Nice food quality and good taste. Big space. Various of menu lunch set. Moderate price. Recommend the BBQ set which has a meat and seafood....
