A cafe straight out of Ghibli.
Before coming here I saw many reviews saying that and it was not disappointing!
It’s a small hut with two floors. We were seated on the second floor.
The shop wasn’t that big, I think they have 3-4 tables on the first floor and two on the second.
We ordered one tomato curry rice and beans cheese with rice (Mexican-Japanese style). I like my tomato curry rice a lot as it’s obvious they put a lot of tomatoes in the mix. The spices were quite strong and fragrant too.
I got the rhubarb and haskap soda and it was so refreshing. My husband got the home roast coffee that they recommended and we understand why they are so confident in their home roast coffee. Very delicious coffee.
We got one set with the dessert and drink and another just with the drink. The set is very worth it, highly recommend!!
For the dessert they gave us cheese raspberry crumble cake. Very delicious. Each bite was so enjoyable and perfectly paired with coffee ☕️ Will come back to this place if we come here again to Hokkaido. The cafe was surrounded by farms too so the experience was quite special :):)
The staff were quite friendly too and they try to explain in English as much as possible.

Read moreThis cafe is in quite a picturesque spot. In the winter, it is very beautiful. The food is also truly amazing. My parents and I had the drink, dessert, and plate set and it was so delicious. The sandwich had the most delicate and tasty mushrooms. My dad really enjoyed the custard pudding, it was his favourite dessert in our trip to Japan. We also bought some bagels to go and they were all so delicious. In addition to being a cafe, there are home good, stationary, jewelry, and snowboards and gear to buy. All of the goods were so thoughtfully curated. If anyone is in the Furano area, I highly...
Read moreI'm a meat lover. Cafe Goryo food came across as vegetarian, but everything tasted great. The food was cooked with fresh and healthy ingredients.
We enjoyed everything from food, refreshing drinks, coffee and cake (the coffee and cake pairing was perfect).
The cafe itself looks like a lovely little hut from outside but every interior detail is aesthetically designed.
We sat on the 2nd floor which was overlooking a wine grape field. The experience was...
