Cannery Row Gifu — Restaurant in Gifu

Can’t say that I Was happy to visit this place. I used to dine in Cannery row in Okayama for years and after moving to Gifu I decided to take my wife for dinner in this place. HUGE disappointment.

As for the starters , there Was almost nothing to choose from (few green veggies and perhaps two kinds of dressing- cheapest option possible). As for the main course, pizza order took ages before it finally arrived and it Was sooooooo small compared to what it used to be in the past in Okayama branch. As for the price . Ridiculous. Not only the time Was limited (unlike few years ago) but it Was somewhere around 2500 yen per person. ! Not to mention there were only two or three kinds of cakes to choose from, and they weren’t really tasty. I hardly ever leave such negative feedback but I think the company should stop ripping us off and get back to normal prices and...

出張で久しぶりに帰ってきて、娘がイタリアン食べたいと言うリクエストで、行ってきました。19:00過ぎていたので駐車場もほぼ満車で大繁盛してましたが、ウェイティングしても食べたい！と満場一致でいざ入店。扉開けた瞬間に小柄で笑顔が素敵な女性スタッフさんが対応。右のショーケースに手作りドルチェが！めちゃ美味しそうでテンション上がる〜！予想通りの満席。ほんの1分くらい待って席に案内されました。メニューは全てフリードリンク、前菜バイキング付き。コーヒーは豆は引き立てで香りも良い！前菜バイキングもローストビーフや、ボイル海老、フライドチキン、サラダ、かぼちゃのオレンジ煮などレパートリー満載、コスパも良い！良過ぎ！もちろんどれも美味しい。メインは娘はピザ、私はペンネのラグーソース、家内はキノコのフィットチーネ。ピザはシェフがくるくる回して生地を伸ばしてました。もっちりして美味しい！キノコのフィットチーネも大きいしめじ？名前忘れましたが食感も楽しめソースに若干のトリュフの香り？もう最高！ラグーソースのペンネはビーフシチューを絡めた感じで、ビーフがホロホロで柔らかくて〜めちゃ手間隙かけて作られている感じが満載！どれも本気に美味しい！ちなみにパスタは季節メニューで今しか食べれないようです。 大満足でした！美味しく作って下さったシェフの皆さん、美味しいドルチェを手間隙かけて作って下さったパテシエさん、素敵な笑顔で接客して下さったホールのスタッフさん、素晴らしい時間をありがとうございました！！次は運転手連れてトスカーナのワイン頂きます！笑...
