First of all, the sushi is bigger than what you usually get! They serve you very generous portions! The fish was probably one of the freshest I’ve ever tasted. Considering how big the pieces of sushi were, and considering the freshness of the seafood, I personally think this restaurant was super price for value!
I also tried the crab miso soup and needless to say, it was fantastic as well! I was so impressed an entire crab inside (the crab meat was very fresh too), and the soup itself was tasty!
I would definitely come back! Numazu Uogashi Sushi has my highest possible recommendation! A great restaurant to visit if you’re visiting the fantastic zoo nearby! I think we were lucky that we didn’t...
Read more沼津魚がし鮨 流れ鮨 御殿場店――生シラスと桜えびは“いま”の甘さ。中トロはシャリの体温と溶け合い、特急レーンで握りたてが直行。
中トロは脂がほどよく香り、噛むより先に米と溶ける。桜海老はふわっと甘く、殻の香ばしさが一瞬だけ立つ。生シラスは潮の香りが静かに広がり、後口が軽い。活貝三種(あわび・つぶ・ミル)は歯ざわりの違いがくっきり、ほたてはミルキー、芽ねぎは香りの芯がまっすぐ。小肌は締めが過ぎず、サザエはコリッと快い。まぐろ唐揚げ、天ぷら、かに汁で合間を整えると、味の流れがきれいにつながる。
看板は“でかネタ”と“こぼし寿司”。写真映えのためだけではなく、噛んだ時にネタとシャリが口の中で一体になる設計。いくら大漁こぼしやまぐろこぼしの豪快さに、地のもの(生桜えび・生しらす)の“今”が重なると、この店のらしさがはっきり見える。
店の背景は港に近い。沼津港の目利きと自社配送の強みが日常価格に落ち、ここ御殿場でも“港の鮨”の距離感で出会える。回らない回転寿司=流れ鮨の仕組みは早くから導入され、タッチパネル→特急レーン直送で、握りたて・揚げたての温度を保ったまま届く。全国チェーンの均一志向に対して、“沼津港直送×でかネタ×特急レーン”で地物の臨場感を押し出すのが、ここを選ぶ理由だと思う。
訪問は休日17時台、店頭発券から着席まで約40分。観光と地元の波が重なる時間帯は、少し早めに並ぶのが正解。盛り合わせや光物三種、炙り三種を混ぜ、好物は単品で足すと、同行者とも味の地図が描きやすい。――駿河湾の機嫌が、その日の一貫に宿る店。
