Nice restaurant to warm up and enjoy the snow mountains during winter. The curry gratin is pretty yummy as well. You can pay with the usual selection of payment methods in Tokyo. Only downside would be the limited menu options but other than that I have...

【暑いから必然のソフトクリーム】

谷川岳ヨッホからのロープウェイ、リフトを乗り継いで標高1500mの展望スペースへ。そこからは谷川岳を一望出来る。今日はさすがに山の上でも暑かったが、少し風が吹くと気持ちよく爽やか。

リフトに乗って戻る時に、なんと、あの有名な方？も乗っているではあ〜りませんか。ちょっとした可愛いサプライズ。こういうの好きだな。※写真参照。

今度は下り。ロープウェイで降りて、下りリフトに乗る前にここ「ビューテラスてんじん」に寄ってひと休憩。

やっぱりこう暑いと「ソフトクリーム（税込500円）」は必然で、口直しの「ホットコーヒー（税込400円）」と一緒に発券機で食券を購入。

ソフトクリームは変な合成的な味もなく甘さもちょうど良く自然な感じでなかなか美味しい。コーンとの相性も良し。ちょっと暑さも和ら...

谷川岳ヨッホのロープウェイを登った先にあるレストラン「ビューテラスてんじん」。 ビューテラスと名乗るだけあり窓際の席からの景観は素晴らしいです。 ９月終わりの平日に来訪しましたが、広い店内ほぼ貸切状態で贅沢な空間でした。 食事のラストオーダーが15:00と麓でアナウンスされギリギリの14:55頃に入店したからかもしれません。 入口の券売機で食券を買うスタイルです。 パングラタンが有名なようですがカツカレーを注文。注文してからカツを揚げるとの事で席で5分ほど待ちました。 言葉の通りカツは揚げたてサクサクで美味しかったです！カレーもこういった場所で食べるものにしては濃厚で深みもあり満足のいく味でした。 ちなみに谷川岳の天然水を飲むことができるので、このロケーションであればドリンク類はオーダーせずに水を飲むのが１番の贅沢な気がします！
