Kuma's forest — Restaurant in Hamanaka

Arrived at opening time before the start of the lunch rush. The atmosphere is like a country town restaurant with plenty of Manga books to read to while away the time before your order arrives. Ordered the Hamburg lunch set and the spaghetti Tonkatsu lunch sets which came with a good sized portion of beef and light greens and a side of fluffy steamed rice. Meat was thoroughly cooked and taste was average, not too rich. Tonkatsu was not very crunchy but was satisfying to bite into. If you order the Supa Katsu it comes on a hot plate but the hamburg didn't. Cold water is self serve. Price is about ¥1,000 per dish set. Looks like a mom and pop run establishment so getting your food in a timely depends on the number of customers, luckily I didn't have to wait...
