ぎふ初寿司 福寿分店 — Restaurant in Hashima

For our 2nd evening, my friend and I decided to eat sushi (again) and happened to see this place close by to our hotel, within 8-10 minutes waking distance from the Gifu-Hashima eki.

It's another neighborhood sushi restaurant, with a nice bar and also sitting area. It seems like all the regular customers can bring their own, special bottles of sake (or other drinks), and when they done dining, they have these cubbyholes reserved where the restaurants will hold the bottle "for the next time!" Probably got a couple hundred of these bottles along one of the walls! Or for newbies like me, they have nice alcoholic beverages to pair with the sushi!

Sushi was great - fresh, good tasting, HUGE pieces on the rice (I'm not complaining)! They have a bit more variety than the other place we ate at the evening before, and a larger serving staff.
