and again in Feb-2023 This time also tried ala carte style. Tried houbou (spiny red gurnard fish), tachiuo (largehead hairtail fish), kinmedai (splendid Alfonso fish), aoyagi gai (mactra chinensis clam) among the specialties. All delicious and reasonable. Had a few types of above lightly cooked (aburi). The tea and the seasoned ginger were delicious too. Highly recommended though it is quite hidden location-wise. A little over ate this time around, too full. 😆 late Dec-2022 Found this place through Google map. Fabulous as many prior reviews noted. Reasonable price and counter seats are nice as you could see the ingredients and the chef will place your order on your sushi board for each order. Parking area is across the shop, easily seen upon arrival. Hidden spot and quite a walk from train station. Very clean and spacious restaurant. Looks like reservation is advisable if you planned to go in the evening. Doesn't look like there is English menu but may be you can order by menu found here ? Beware though ingredients on screen could be strictly seasonal. We'll certainly drop by again when we next visit the area again.

Huge parking, in front of restaurant. Inside the restaurant there are western tables, japanese tables in tatami room and counter bar. And, first of all......sushi and other dishes are simply wonderful! Strongly reccomended.

とても美味しかった。さりげない職人技が美味しいネタをさらに美味しくする。カウンター席だったので、板前さん(ご主人です)に　このお魚はどんな味か等　教えてもらいながら　楽しく美味しく食事しました。しろみが好きなのですが　ほうぼうを初めて食べました。キンメ鯛は皮目を少し炙ってあり　あまりの美味しさに4回もお替りしました。煮ホタテも絶品　技ありのお味でした。美味しさをあげたら　きりがないですが　お値段の安さにも驚きました。あんなに手をかけているのに　良心的過ぎる価格かも。地元の方に長く愛される筈ですね。お茶をだしてくださる奥様の笑顔　板場の横に並んだ息子さん(板前さんですよ)の　緊張感というか料理に対する真摯な思いが伝わるような姿。熱川での最高の思い出になりました。それから　帰り際にお店とは関係のないことで　少し困った事になり　親切にして頂きました。ありがとうございました。旅行でいった熱川で　私は大阪在住なので　又伺う事が出来るかどうか。でも　もう一度行きたいお店で　私のナンバ...
