This was my regular haunt as they had a lot of the local delicacies such as Iwana fish (Rock Trout) and Hattou which was a yummy dessert. I loved the Ten Zaru Soba which had tempura veggies paired with fermented side dishes and the soba that is dipped in sauce. Gyudon was very tasty too!

They are very accommodating there and it’s easy to order from the ticket machine and pictures on the wall even without English. The staff are so nice and friendly.

You can browse through souvenir items like Tshirts, handicrafts, salamander salad dressing (!) honey, etc

You won’t feel bored as there is a tv.

例年ならスキー客で賑わうシーズンやが 今年は雪不足なのかリフトが止まってたので閉園 食事処も私以外の客がいない閑古鳥状態 一日5食限定メニューなのでお客さんが少なくて 食べられたからラッキーやったかも？（笑）

珍しい岩魚の２色イクラ ・　赤いのは醤油漬け ・　黄色いのは塩漬け

お刺身は檜枝岐の特産清流でとれた ・　岩魚の刺身 ・　虹鱒の刺身

岩魚のイクラ初めて食べましたが 醤油漬けは鮭と遜色ない旨味 塩漬けも鮭イクラより生臭さが無くて どちらも旨い❗✨

サッパリした岩魚の刺身と 脂のり良い虹鱒も美味しく頂き完食
