We were hungry after checking out the Mitaki-dera temple, so we decided to stop here since we passed it on the way up and it had good reviews. We were so glad we did! We were the only customers there for a late lunch, and we got the summer special of cold dipping noodles as well as some mango ice cream. The noodle dish was one of my favorites of my entire trip in Japan- it was the perfect summer meal and helped me cool down during a hot July day. Thank you for lifting my spirits on a rainy day, because of you I was able to enjoy the beauty of the nearby shrine. I will always recommend people stop in here when they are in the area. Thank you as well, for accommodating my strange request for...

A lovely experience at this restaurant that’s been around for over twenty years. The setting is peaceful, even if the garden is on the smaller side. A little pond with Nishiki koi adds a gentle, zen-like touch to the atmosphere. 😻 Service isn’t rushed, which makes it easy to unwind. The dishes are generous and well-prepared, with prices similar to what you'd find in the city. 👍🏻 There's also a shop corner full of quirky little items to explore. The staff are warm and...
