We were hungry after checking out the Mitaki-dera temple, so we decided to stop here since we passed it on the way up and it had good reviews. We were so glad we did! We were the only customers there for a late lunch, and we got the summer special of cold dipping noodles as well as some mango ice cream. The noodle dish was one of my favorites of my entire trip in Japan- it was the perfect summer meal and helped me cool down during a hot July day. They also have a koi pond right outside the restaurant, and for a very small fee you can feed the fish! They’re so used to being fed that they all collect right where you stand awaiting food!
