St.Cousair Winery Restaurant — Restaurant in Iizuna

I did not expect THIS quality of food but damn I was thoroughly pleased and impressed.

The food was a 10/10. Best pasta I’ve had in Japan, arguably also best food I’ve had in my Japan trip so far.

We even re ordered the seasonal pasta (cream penne with wild mushroom and chicken, this was soooo good. Would give this a 11/10 honestly). But also some notable mentions were: the locally sourced bacon, as well as the charcoal grilled venison (cooked perfectly 😭), salad with onsen egg.

AND THE VIEW! Oh I would come here for the view only but damn was the food the star here👌👌

Service was also great, so all in all LOVED it and 10/10 would come back :)

This is the best restaurant I have been to near Kurohime area. The food are so delicious and very reasonable price !! We sat at terrance over looking the little villiage surrounded by beautiful mountains . You feel like you are some where in Europe’s Winery !! What a nice restaurant with beautiful flowers around out there in the entrance, and winery places in the waiting area. They have terrace seats that enjoy a good view of fields and farms down and mountains far beyond. Food is good and seems wines are recommended too.
