Oryori Kisoan — Restaurant in Inazawa

I was invited by a dear friend to attend a Bean Throwing Festival at this restaurant last week and it was my first time to attend one. It was indeed remarkable. Such a great experience for me.

実母の米寿の御祝いに伺いました。京料理は、お値段の割に期待はずれで終わるのですが、こちらは違いました。手の込んだお料理は、もちろんのこと、吟味された食材、季節を感じる器から、御祝い用の特別な器、気さくな女将さんのお心遣いのおかげで最後まで美味しくいただきました。 全国の美食家が訪れることが良くわかりました。実母も大変喜んでくれたので何よりです。ただ、一つ難点は、猛暑のせいもありますが、個室のエアコンがなかなか効かなくて少し涼しくなったかと思うと、｢失礼します｣と、扉を開けて次のお料理を持ってきて下さるので、部屋がまた熱くなり、がっかりでした。風向きを変えて貰おうとお願いすると、｢変わりません｣と言われて、最後まで残念な感じで終わりました。お料理が、美味しいのに、ほんとに残念。 女将さんは汗だくで、一生懸命おもてなしして下さるので有り難いやら、申し訳けないやら...
