This is such an amazing small local restaurant run by a grandma and her husband. You need to make a reservation for dinner (looks like you need to for many restaurants on this island for dinner) but not necessary for lunch. We had a goat soba and raw goat meat. It was my first time ever to try goat meat. On the contrary of what many people say it has a strong smell, that wasn't the case for the dishes we had. My bf had a second bowl of the goat soba, which tells me it was that good 👍.
We got to talk to them and found out that ther dishes are from their own farms. The goat meat is from her 40+ goats, and she also has chickens, and pigs. You see eggs for sale and they are from her chickens. The fish is from what hee husband catches. They also have their own vegitable garden. The conversations with them were such a delight and we learned so much about how local people take care of their produces and how they want to preserve farm to table practices.
