This is a classy Tonkatsu place which also serves jumbo fried shrimps and sashimi. Parking is conveniently in front of the restaurant and there is a garden with a Koi pond. Many seats are comfortably separted in semi private compartments. We had the special tonkatsu (which is available in different size portions), delicious sashimi and also the giant fried shrimps (maybe the largest i have ever eaten in my life so far). Both - the pork as well as the shrimps were extraordinary juicy inside while nice crispy on the outside. Very nice set menus and the waitress kindly made sure we did not order too many dishes. Thank you for the nice evening !
For all the ignorant tourists we had to observe that evening:
do not ask and insist that you want chicken (its not a chicken place and not on the menu); inform your self first about the menu before entering the door ( Russian couple last night) There is no kids menu either and no need to get excited and complain about it (Chinese family last night) And if you expect the hard-working staff to speak English - don't forget that you are a guest in this hospitable country and show some respect as they try to accommodate you as much as possible - so don't shout and maybe you better just stay in your home country, if you are not willing to respect local traditions.
I understand now very well, why many restaurants are banning...
