We went for a 30-minute strawberry picking buffet. It cost about 2000 yen per person. They gave us condensed milk to dip the strawberries in—it was a must-try! Their condensed milk is different from the ones in Singapore or Malaysia. It’s less sweet and more runny, which we liked.
There were lots of strawberries to pick, and the staff gave a very clear and helpful explanation on how to pick them. Everyone was friendly and patient, and they explained everything in English.
We also bought some jams and souvenirs. They even let us taste the jams before buying—so kind! They do sell dehydrated strawberry sliced pieces which tasted good as well. We tried their waffles too, and they were really good—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Everything was super delicious!
The place was so quiet and peaceful. It's more convenient to drive over than to take public transport!

They offered 45 min blueberry picking, shaved ice, waffles, smoothies, and coffee/tea.
We got the strawberry cheesecake shaved ice and two lemon squash beverages. Let me tell you, on a hot summer day, this is EXACTLY what we needed.
The gentleman working there (possibly owner) was so kind and gave us recommendations of where to go and what to do in the peninsula while we waited for our order.
The shaved ice was AMAZING. Now where I come from, shaved ice is usually very stacked. In our experience in Japan, it usually wasn’t unless you’re at a Hawaiian themed restaurant. There were graham cracker bits, cream cheese, ice, strawberry, and strawberry jam. So good!

Read moreWe drove past this place and turned around to see what it was. We don't speak Japanese, but with a little effort with the employees, determined that we were paying to pick and eat strawberries in the green house. They had 3 different varieties of strawberries growing. There were plenty ripe for our family and several other people in there. They gave us sweetened condensed milk to dip the strawberries in. It was delicious. One caution: if you have bee allergies, beware, they have a beehive there to pollinate the...
